Spring 2010

While the rainy/cloudy Portland weather has left much to be desired this spring, we have still managed to get out and create some wonderful memories with great family and friends.

DAVID'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
My lovely husband celebrated his birthday on June 5th. Last year we have a big Dirty 30 birthday so we thought we would keep this year a bit more low key. I organized a salt and chocolate tasting for some close friends at The Meadow, a wonderful salt, chocolate and wine shop on Mississippi Ave. in Portland (if you live in Portland and have not been, you have to check it out).

We tasted 6 different salts. Each salt we tasted on a cucumber and bread and butter to analyze the difference in textures and pairings.
We also broke into this $25 chocolate bar that was incredible!!
TUCSON TRIP
Last minute, we went out to Tucson for Memorial Day to catch some rays and get some quality family time. It was a great decision...there is nothing like a little family time to rejuvinate you!

David learned how to make the famous Russo spaghetti sauce so we all shared in one last meal before we left - delicious David!
FATHER'S DAY
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there! You play a very important role and we all love you for it!
Grandpa, Dad and I are going to celebrate when they come to Portland later in July, but today we were able to take Bob - my wonderful Father-in-law to Tori Mor winery in Dundee for a picnic and some pinot.

*30* I DID IT!

I did it...I just got a promotion at work! I love my job and have always tried to give it my all and it really paid off. My new role is Loyalty Programs Manager at the Portland Trail Blazers. I will be working with all of our Suite and Season Ticket Holder programs to help them feel like part of the Trail Blazers family. It is a great job focused on building meaningful connections and spreading enthusiasm...it is like it was made for me.

I am super excited and just wanted to share the news.
Go Trail Blazers!
