Mi-yami!

My lovely friend Leila is getting married! So a great group headed down to Miami to celebrate her. I am secretly in love with Miami as it is so beautiful and the people are awesome. Here are some photos of the trip...

*30* Born to fly

Maybe I wasn't born to fly as I do have a small fear of planes. But I still stretched myself and went on a glider plane in Sunriver, Oregon today. It was a blast, so quiet with absolutely beautiful views. Our pilot, Brian, was the best and had us do two "wing overs". It was a ton of fun, I am so glad I did it, don't know if I will ever do it again...but cross it off the 30 before 30 list!

Our pilot just sent us this picture that he took in the air so I had to add it to the post:

The whole fam bam

Last week I had my family in town. It is always so refreshing to spend time with family and feel that unconditional love. Thanks for coming guys and see you soon!

Little Lei (don't I have the cutest goddaughter in the world) got into the guacamole at the BBQ and this photo was just too cute not to post.
FAMILY IS THE BEST!

*30* Go Fish!

I don't know if many people have been out to Anderson Islan, Washington but I can tell you I truly fell in love with this little island. Our friend, Ben, was kind enough to invite a group of us out for a weekend to stay at his parents place and it was really a great trip. Thanks Ben!

On top of creating great memories with friends, I was even able to cross off another one of my 30 before 30 items. I went fishing, caught a fish, cleaned it, cooked it and ate it. All thanks to the fishing master of the weekend, my husband D!

Keep scrolling down to see all the photos.

The dock and beautiful lake at Anderson Island

David - the fishing master of the weekend. He was out on the dock at 7am and fished all day long. He caught 3 fish and was the reason we all had dinner that night!

Yum! Dinner!

*30* Here is the sequence of me completing my 30 before 30 list item!

Caught it - I wish I had a better picture. It was quite the story. David had to kill the poor fish with his flip flop. Sad!
Clean it
Cook it - parmesan and walnut topping

Eat it
